adrian shephard slash gordon freeman.... aka.... SHEPMAN

they are the protagonists of half life and hl opposing force: gordon was the scientist who caused the resonance cascade; adrian was one of the hecu soldiers sent to clear up the incident (by killing everyone), but he never got his orders because his crew died, so he isnt like a bad guy
both of them were stalked by gman and sent to stasis by him (adrian never got to leave it tho)
i headcanon them to be mute because they dont talk in the games

their dynamic is very interesting to me: its a weak nerd w/ a strong dumbass but they got both power armor
theyre are sorta in a forbidden relationship; they are on opposing (heh) teams, and i think if shephard was ever caught to be with gordon he would be declared a traitor and sent to the trash compactor together (but also cuz i like the enemies to lovers trope)
theyre the sides of the same coin to me

i first discovered shepman when reading Anticitizen Ones by Akli_G and it stuck to me
i am one of the 2 people who draw shepman regularly lol
i could talk about them for hours but i doubt anyone would want to hear that
